Water Department

The West Earl Township Water Department serves approximately 1,500 households in the Brownstown, Talmage, Sandy Beach and Akron Hill areas of the Township. There are two water sources: ground water from a well and surface water from the interconnection with the City of Lancaster.

The Water Department routinely monitors for various contaminants in your drinking water according to the Federal and State laws. The Water Department prepares an annual drinking water quality report each year. Please view the available Water Quality Reports.
